Ronn Motors

The question on their Website is, “How fast can you make water go?” But the real question – the question that Ronn Motors has finally answered – is how fast can water make you go? Ronn Motors, a Houston, Texas-based company, has revolutionized hydrogen fuel injection. This revolution comes to us via their Scorpion, a car that’s as green as its competitors are with envy. Universal Autosports, one of only two authorized Koenigsegg dealers in North America, is proud to announce that, in addition to Koenigsegg, it is now an official, authorized dealer for Ronn Motors.
“We’re very excited about this new relationship,” said Giacomo Ciaccia, President of Universal Autosports. “Ultra exotic sports cars are what we do; we’re in tune with the heart beat of the sports car market and the wants and needs of sports car owners. And with the announcement of the Ronn Motors Scorpion, the pulse has quickened.” Universal Autosports, located in Glen Cove, on Long Island in New York, anticipates taking delivery of its first Scorpions in June, 2009.
In August, 2007, Ronn Maxwell and Adrian Pylypec met at a CafĂ© in Johnson City, TX, to discuss the birth of an American exotic sports car. By November of that same year, Ronn Performance Engineering was born, and private funding commenced. Ronn and Adrian decided an American exotic wasn’t enough; they knew the world was finally ready for a hydrogen performance car. The Scorpion employs Ronn Motors’ trademarked H2G0 system, which is hydrogen on-demand fuel injection.
Hydrogen fuel injection (HFI) is a process that produces hydrogen during vehicle operation through electrolysis of water using the power generated from the vehicle’s electrical system. A small amount of hydrogen added to the vehicle’s intake air/fuel mixture allows the engine to operate with less fossil fuel. The Scorpion uses this technology, achieving both lower emissions as well as vastly improved fuel economy.
The hand-built, carbon fiber body, blanketed over a chrome-moly chassis, is host to Acura’s V-Tech engine coupled with Ronn Motors’ own proprietary twin turbo system. All of this is mated to a six speed manual transmission, and the end result is 450 horsepower. The car’s light weight clutch and flywheel, refrigerated intercoolers, limited slip differential, and polished stainless spindles and control arms prove that this is ready to play with the big boys. When it’s time to stop, drivers can rely on 12” cross-drilled Wilwood rotors on all four wheels. Two-piece forged Modena wheels by MOZ are wrapped in Toyo Proxie Ultra High Performance T1R radials, 255/30/20 in the front and 305/30/20 at the back.
The on-board Hydrogen On Demand system, which provides 130 octane hydrogen in real time, is blended with gasoline in 30-50% mixtures. This results in an estimated 40mpg highway fuel economy. Say goodbye to gas guzzler tax, and say hello to Ronn Motors. Who better than Audi to create something so sporty and yet so comfortable at the same time? The new R8 is a marvel; a force to be reckoned with on all playing fields. It posts Ferrari-esque times in all categories. It suits the comfort requirements of even the stiffest epicure. And it turns heads like any other exotic available today.

This particular R8 is an '09 - yes, a 2009 model - fresh out of the box. It's painted in a dark metallic gray and features a luxurious black leather cockpit. The gated shifter is a direct homage to Ferrari's reign as the sports car king - and it shifts so smoothly, too. The odometer is nearly blank with just 80 delivery miles.

This is the car to have. Hands down, bar none, no questions asked, if you're looking for a sports car - this is it. Here we have an '07 F430 Spider, equipped with an F1 transmission. The steering wheel's Manettino allows you to decide just how much fun you'd like to have. You can go from a pile of giggles to a Shumacher imitator in just a few clicks. Liveried in Grigio Silverstone, a dark metallic gray, the outside of this car features fender shields, ball-polished wheels, aluminum calipers, 3M protection and a carbon fiber rear panel. The cockpit is tailored with supple black leather, contrasted in white stitching, and features power Daytona seats. A yellow tachometer and carbon fiber interior trim set the serious driving mood.

For sale: 2000 Ferrari 550 Maranello - SOLD...!!!...

There isn't a Ferrari made that I don't like. But when it comes to value - and sheer, unadultered power - it really doesn't get any better than the 550 Maranello. I mean, c'mon... 480 horsepower, 420 ft. lbs. of torque, and a top speed of 199mph. All wrapped in a subtle, elegant cloak, tailored by Pininfarina.

This particular example is liveried in Rosso Corsa with wonderful tan leather, coupled with tan carpets and a black dash. On the outside, the muscular body sports fender shields and red calipers. The execution of this car's specifications was simple, yielding an elegant result that clearly shows a sports car, but without letting on to its true potential.

We invite you to come in and take this monster for a test drive. You don't know torque on top until you've driven a Maranello. Call and make an appointment, or stop in unannounced at your convenience. Either way, we'll get you behind the wheel so that you can experience unbridled Ferrari fun.
