For sale: 2003 Ferrari 360 Modena F1 - SOLD...!!!

Here it is, folks. The successor to the 355. The red, Italian sports car of your dreams. The reason why we foster a deep appreciation for smoothly paved, seldom-traveled roads. The combination of sight, sound and feeling that stirs our souls like nothing else in this world. The Ferrari 360 Modena.

Equipped with an F1 transmission, this stunning coupe is liveried in the classic red/tan Ferrari color combination. The cockpit is adorned with supple leather and power Daytona seats. The exterior accoutrement speak of a racing passion rivaled by no other marque. Scuderia shields on the fenders, front and rear Challenge grilles, and a clear bra to prevent stone chips and those unluckiest of insects who happen to be flying low when you blast down that windy country road on a beautiful summer day. Behind the five-point alloy wheels, big red calipers grab steel brake discs and reduce speed as quickly as it's gained.

Referred to some as "flappy paddles", the transmission in the 360 Modena is anything but a game, even though it cements a smile into your face long after you've put it away.
The 360's F1 gearbox is an evolution from that in the 355, and doesn't exclude you from the driving experience. It draws you deeper into the man/machine interface. A spirited drive in a 360 with an F1 transmission floods your senses with engine and exterior input, enthralling the driver, begging, pushing, yearning for more. The experience demands your attention and holds it - seemingly breathless - from the moment you turn the key until the moment you pull it out.

The Modena compels you to carve up the twistiest roads, providing unadulterated joy via point-and-shoot steering and leave-you-in-the-dust acceleration. A quick jaunt down a side road can turn into hours of driving, forcing the gas gauge to flash at you for a refill. Before you know it, you're in another state - and the drive back home seems to command a detour through a third state. And when you get home, you notice a button you've never seen before: Sport Mode. Now your next trip will be enhanced with a stiffer suspension, even faster shift times, and a throttle response that says "how high?" before you can even think of the word 'jump'.

But don't take my word for it. Come in and test drive it for yourself.

Universal Autosports Grand Opening

Where are you when you’re surrounded by beautiful women, exotic cars, hand-rolled cigars, five-star food and endless Champagne? Where else? You’re at the Grand Opening of Universal Autosports! On Sunday, 18 May 2008, New York’s only authorized Koenigsegg dealer opened their doors to the public and announced that we are officially in business. The turnout was incredible with people and exotic cars coming from as far as Boston. The masses came to see the rare and exotic automobilia on display in our new showroom and state-of-the-art service facility. Many of those people brought more cars on which the public feasted its eyes.

Universal Autosports is one of only two authorized Koenigsegg dealers in North America, and the only authorized service facility here in the states. The Grand Opening marks a new age of automotive passion and excellence, with a dedicated team of automotive professionals and enthusiasts. Universal Autosports’ owners Giacomo Ciaccia and Luke Vuksanaj have decades of experience between them. Ciaccia, known to friends as Jack, was the General Manager of Ferrari of Long Island for ten years after working at Ferrari North America. Luke’s experience in and pedigree with the automotive aftermarket world brings a refreshing and diverse aspect to the table.

The state-of-the-art service facility at Universal Autosports isn’t touted just for its new equipment. That’s not to say that the four two-post lifts, nitrogen generator, sand blaster, and alignment machine aren’t impressive. But the real gems in our service department are the two master technicians: Luigi Scala and Kent Woodworth. Scala and Woodworth are both former Ferrari and Maserati technicians with ample experience working on a wide array of vintage examples to the latest and rarest exotica. And I don’t mean “former” like they’re rusty and out of practice. These guys haven’t stopped wrenching since they started. Talking to them is like reading the most comprehensive service and technical manuals ever written; they know their stuff.

The showroom floor was host to only two cars during the Grand Opening: a white 1989 25th Anniversary Edition Lamborghini Countach, and a brilliant blue 2008 Koenigsegg CCX. But all of the other cars that were supposed to be in the showroom were parked out on the street. A sample of the automobiles on display included a Regal Turquoise 1958 Corvette Roadster, a blue Ford GT, a fire engine red Viper SRT-10 Roadster, a yellow Ferrari 360 Modena, a silver F430 Spider, a red 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS (original numbers-matching with a 454!), a 1969 Camaro Z/28 and much more. It was an enthusiast’s paradise; an automotive garden of Pininfarina curves, Bertone wedges and American muscle.

As if the contents of our showroom weren’t enough, our visitors brought some amazing examples. Jim Glickenhaus brought the famed Ferrari P4/5, a one-off, modern-day, road-going interpretation of Ferrari’s sports prototype 330 P4 racecars from the ‘60s. Renowned collector and private racer Benny Caiola brought a Maserati MC12 – one of only 50 in the world. The raging bulls from Sant’Agata Bolognese made a nice showing with a gaggle of Murcielagos and Gallardos – and an orange 6.0 Diablo VT even graced the event with its stunning presence. A Lotus Elise, Audi R8, Acura NSX and Maserati’s latest iteration of a roadworthy sports car were also strutting their stuff.

Local authorities closed off the road so that attendees and locals alike could roam the streets and enjoy the show. The DJ pumped music into the air that, combined with sunshine and the staggering automotive visuals, yielded the feeling of being at a surreal, car-based carnival. Inside the showroom, a quiet gentleman in a Cuban hat and white, short-sleeve button-down, hand-rolled cigars for anyone who had a hankering for a good stogie. “Salute!” was heard periodically as Champagne glasses clinked and guests mingled about the cars and hors d’oeuvres. It was a beautiful day, made that way by the beautiful cars and people who made it all possible. The only down side to the event was that it had to end. But that’s okay because rumor has it that their next event is just a few weeks away. If it’s anything like their Grand Opening, it’ll prove to be a blast.

For sale: 2002 Ferrari 360 Spider F1 - SOLD...!!!

Who's the kind of red, Italian, convertible sports cars? Ferrari - of course! So it only makes sense that we'd have one on the showroom floor, right? Right. Ferrari made 8,500 of these from 1999 through 2005 - and if that sounds like a lot to you, then just consider this: Chevrolet made more Corvette Roadsters in the '50s than Ferrari made 360 Spiders. This particular sample of open air motoring bliss is Rosso Corsa 322 D.S. - the most popular Ferrari red - with tan leather. Power seats are but one of many creature comforts. Power windows, supple leather and Daytona inserts round out the interior without overdoing it, while the exterior yields a race-ready impression: BBS wheels, red calipers, shields, front and rear Challenge grilles and a Tubi exhaust. The car also has optional custom mats, books, tools and a cover. The weather is here, the price is right, the time is now. The place is Universal Autosports; see you there.

For sale: 2005 F430 - SOLD...!!!...

Ferrari began production of the F430 in 2004. The F430 was inspired by the 360 Modena, one of Ferrari's successful and most-produced models. With more torque and horsepower, quicker shift times, optional carbon ceramic brakes (as seen on the Enzo and FXX), the F430 is the premier sports car of today.

This specific example is covered in a beautiful blu Tour de France, which is a classy contrast to the supple, tan leather. A red tachometer and carbon fiber trim round out the interior, while the external aesthetics are complimented by shields and red calipers.

These days, the transmission in Ferrari road cars has gone the way of the race team, utilizing F1 technology. However, this car has a manual gearbox, yielding the classic gated shifter. As you're up- and down-shifting, you'll swear there are tiny Samurai sword fighting inside of your car. The faint metallic ching that emanates from the shifter as you thrust it from second to third is a unique audible byproduct not heard in any other marque.

Couple that with a raucous V8 whose revving music blares through a harmonious exhaust, train rail-like handling, leather sport seats that hug you, an adjustable suspension via a steering wheel-mounted Mannettino and - ah, just come in and see for yourself.

For sale: 1958 Corvette Convertible - SOLD...!!!...

Let's start with the facts: This car is turquoise blue with white scallops and a dark blue leather interior. It's got black mats and two-eared knock-offs. It's got a three-speed manual.

Now the opinions: This car is beautiful. Stunning in pictures, but breathtaking in person. When you sit in it, you know you're someplace special. It shifts like a hot knife through butter runs like it was built yesterday. It's not a classic, it's a legend. It stops you in your tracks the second you see it; it's special. It really and truly speaks for itself. Come by and check it out. Even if you you're not in the market for a car at all, you should still see this piece of automotive history.

Chevrolet built the C1 - this Corvette Roadster - from 1953 until 1962. But during those 11 years, only 9,168 were produced. The available color choices for 1958 were Snowcrest white, Silver blue, Signet red, Panama yellow, Charcoal, Black and Regal turquoise. We don't know the exact number of '58s liveried in Regal turquoise, but it couldn't have been too many.

For sale: 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS

Summer's here and nothing celebrates nice weather better than a convertible with a 454 under the hood. The SS with the 454 is Chevrolet's final iteration of the Chevelle, and by far the most popular. Running mid-13s in the quarter mile, the power of the SS 454 was far and away its most appealing part.

The muscle car market today is going haywire. Every driver classics from yesteryear are fetching six and seven figures. The commonality in these high dollar-fetching cars is their powerful engines. This one is a definite catch. While it does have a CD player installed in the glove box, it is a largely original Chevelle SS 454. We urge interested parties to stop in and give it a once over. The SS is a blast to drive, so we're happily encouraging test drives - people who aren't even here to see the car are taking it for a spin!

Give us a call or stop by when you get a chance. We're certain that muscle car enthusiasts will want to see this one up close and personal, in the flesh.

For sale: 2005 Dodge Viper SRT-10 - SOLD!

So you want Ferrari power but you don't have Ferrari money. Look no further - Dodge's SRT-10 Viper is perfect for you. With 25 more ft. lbs. of torque than its 500 horsepower output, the Viper's top speed of 195 mph isn't hard to reach - and you can get there in a hurry. Of course, you wouldn't really expect anything less from an 8.3 liter V10 engine. But don't worry - with 345s in the rear, this snake is gripping the road better than anything else out there.

This venomous, third-generation street predator is 80 pounds less than the previous model. And, as a Roadster, it actually weighs less than its coupe counterpart. This particular unit wears a red livery with black leather and the seats have suede center inserts. With only 1,907 miles on the clock, she's ready to be driven, so come by for a test drive today.

This Viper goes from 0-60 in 3.9 seconds, and from 0-100 in just 8.3. It demolishes the quarter mile in 11.7 seconds, but it's second to none when it comes to being the best bang for your buck. Call today to speak with a customer indulgence liaison, and indulge yourself in the ultimate thrill.

For sale: 2008 Koenigsegg CCX

My mother always told me that there's a time and a place for everything. This age old phrase usually immediately followed something I did wrong. But alas, years later, it still holds meaning. For instance, staring. It's not polite to stare. You see a beautiful woman, you want to stare, but you know it's just not right. You see a horrible accident on the highway, you want to stare, but you know it's just not right.

But, contrary to popular belief, there are times when you're almost expected to stare. Like when you're walking down the street and you glance through the window of New York's only authorized Koenigsegg dealer - and see a brilliant blue Koenigsegg CCX sitting in the forefront of the showroom. You're compelled to stare; people would look at you strangely if you merely walked by. It's a Koenigsegg - and more to the point, very few people know what that actually means!

Christian von Koenigsegg, Swedish automotive phenom, started a profitable super car-manufacturing company before his 30s. His company purchased a defunct fighter jet facility previously occupied by the Swedish Air Force, also known as the Ghosts. The CCX is the first model to be US-legal - and we've got one of very few in the US right here in our showroom.

This particular car has carbon fiber wheels, a rearview camera, stereo with iPod connection, ceramic brakes and a car cover - not that you'd ever want to cover this amazing machine. The interior is a stunning combination of beige leather and blue Alcantara. And this car has more carbon fiber than the stealth bomber.

The craftsmanship, quality, fit and finish of the CCX is unparalleled. The attention to detail, and the level of dedication put into each and every car would put any luxury car manufacturer to shame. Add to that the fact that this car maxes out at just over 250 mph, and you've got yourself a force with which to be reckoned.

While we're reluctant to sell it - because it's just so beautiful - it is for sale. So if you're interested - if you think you can handle this Swedish machine - then we welcome you into our home. Stop by, ask questions - hell, take her out for a spin. We're here whenever you want to drop in - even if you just want to stare.

For sale: Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary Edition

Gruppo Bertone, the company responsible for iconic automotive designs such as the Ferrari Rainbow, the Alfa Romeo BAT, Ferrari's 208/308 GT4, Cizeta Moroder V16T, Iso Grifo, Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Speciale and Lamborghini's Miura and Diablo, is also the pen behind the legendary styling of the Countach.

Over the course of 16 years - 1974-1990 - Lamborghini made just 2,042 Countaches. Of those, 650 were of the 25th Anniversary ilk, produced from 1988 through 1990. Many Lamborghini model names, before and after the Countach, were adopted after famous bulls and bullfighting. But the word Countach, from the local Piedmontese language, is an exclamation of astonishment, generally deployed by men upon spying a beautiful woman.

The Countach's racecar-like body was constructed of aircraft-grade aluminum over a tubular space frame. It housed a traditional Lamborghini V12, longitudinally mounted with a mid-engine configuration. All European Countaches maintained the use of carburettors, while the ones made for the US market - starting with the 5000QV - employed Bosch Jetronic fuel injection. Despite being made so long ago, the Countach only weighed 3,300 pounds.

The 25th Anniversary Countach features many aesthetic changes not seen on earlier iterations. But the subtle differences are just individual variations in Lamborghini's DNA, renowned for exotic, breathtaking creations. Even though Countach production stopped almost two decades ago, it is still revered as one of the most iconic and recognizable sports cars today. We're pleased to entertain inquiries and visits concerning this car. We're just as enthused to have it in our showroom as we're sure you would be to come see it. So don't hesitate; pick up the phone and schedule and appointment, or just drop in when you have a chance. We'd be more than happy to take it out with you for a test drive.
